Welcome Days

The Welcome Days are addressed to all incoming students taking part in a mobility programme (Erasmus+ for Studies, SEN Coimbra Group, Swiss European Mobility Programme, ARQUS Alliance Mobility Programme, Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree, Bilateral Agreements, Double & Joint Degrees).

Students are introduced to the University and the city of Padua and provided with all the information needed to ensure a great and fruitful stay at UniPD.

The Welcome Days take place at the beginning of each semester.

The events are organized by the Projects and Mobility Office of the International Relations Division

All events will be online (CET time zone). Students will receive an email with the links in order to access the meetings.

  • 8th February at 11am - “Ready to start”: : all you need to know in order to start your mobility period at Unipd
  • 10th February at 11am - “How to become familiar with the teaching tools”: how to use our online platforms in order to take advantage of all the necessary tools to attend online classes and be able to sign up for courses.
  • 11th February at 11am (to be confirmed) - “Meet the University Language Centre (CLA)”: how to sign up for the Italian language course and all other opportunities provided by the University Language Centre

You should attend the relevant Welcome meeting according to the subject-area you are assigned to. These meetings are a key opportunity to get acquainted with the new educational environment, exploring teaching activities and methodologies.

  • Department of Economics and Management – 18th February at 11.30 am
  • School of Engineering – 18th February at 10.30 am
  • School of Human and Social Sciences and Cultural Heritage – 17th February at 11 am
  • School of Law and Department of Political Science, Law, and International Studies (SPGI) – 16th February at 1.30 pm
  • School of Medicine and Surgery – 16th February at 11 am
  • School of Psychology –  15th February at 10.30 am
  • School of Science – 17th February at 11.30 am


  • 26th , 27th February and 5th, 12th March - only if national regulations allow to gather in public places: “Guided Tours of Padova” by ESN Padova
    Thanks to the cooperation with the Erasmus Student Network Padua, you will be guided through the most interesting corners of our beautiful city and you will discover how the University of Padua and the City are deeply merged together and share a friendly and exciting athmosphere.

  • “Tips and tricks to survive”: a few short videos with our suggestions about daily life in Padua. They will always be available on the Drive folder shared with the students.
